For students and researchers
Do the research. Write the paper.
A track that takes you from newcomer to research scientist, and a writing studio that cites as you type — from the first idea to the version you submit.
Research Track: newcomer to research scientist
Seven levels, each ending in a test you pass by doing: reading papers, defending a question, replicating a result, writing and speaking. A roadmap and today's steps for your field, paper cards you can present at Journal Club, a weekly meeting with your Supervisor, a term bank you review, and a readiness map of what to work on next. Aim for a PhD place, a first paper, or research at work — about ten hours a week takes most people to their first independent project in 9 to 12 months.
Free to follow
The roadmap, lessons, papers, projects and term bank cost nothing. Only the AI practice — Supervisor meetings and Journal Club — uses credits.
A writing studio that cites as you type
Pick a source and the citation goes in, in APA 7th, Harvard, MLA, Chicago, IEEE or Vancouver, and the reference list builds itself. Bring your library from Zotero, Mendeley, EndNote or JabRef (BibTeX, RIS or CSL-JSON), work through ten guided stages, and export to Word, LaTeX with a .bib file, PDF or Markdown.
Find papers
Search for papers to read and cite without leaving your draft, and add them to your sources in one click. No AI involved.
Check before you submit
A free originality check on your own computer, against your sources, your Library and open indexes such as OpenAlex, arXiv and PubMed. A claim check tests each claim against what you cite, and and a review gives you feedback on a section before anyone else reads it.
Journal-ready
Write as a journal paper: title page, authors and affiliations, word limits, declarations, cross-references and a typeset preview, with a "Ready to submit?" check before you send it.
Write together
Share a project with co-authors or your supervisor and edit it live, with comments and suggested changes — and an email to everyone when someone comments. Listen back with read aloud, or dictate a section.
